In this course, we will improve on the project built in our REDCAP101 and REDCAP201 courses, introducing REDCap’s Randomisation features so that we can collect data for treatment and control groups, and randomly assign participants to the groups in a way that eliminates researcher bias. We will learn about what a Randomised Controlled Trial is, what different methods of randomisation are, and how to use them in REDCap. We will also introduce more features of REDCap, including alerts and notifications, and repeating instruments.
